...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of West Tennessee, including the following
county, Shelby.

* WHEN...Until 600 PM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 258 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Bartlett, Collierville, Germantown, Cordova, T O Fuller State
Park, Memphis, Lakeland, Southeast Memphis, Midtown Memphis,
Ellendale, Frayser, Downtown Memphis, Whitehaven, Southwest

Park, Raleigh and Capleville.
